About Client –
Our customer is a start-up focused on medical devices. Their devices consisted of embedded electronic systems, complex hardware modules, firmware, physical products, communications & backend infrastructure and mobile & web apps. GS Lab is their electronics and software development partner.
Challenge –
The customer wanted to develop a medical implant and wearable miniature device to monitor body vitals. They needed a partner who could develop an embedded system for physical products and seamlessly connect the hardware, firmware and software while conforming to FDA/FCC standards and regulations.
Solution –
GS Lab leveraged prior experience in the design and development of industrial & medical IoT ecosystems (physical, networked, software and human-interactive systems) to define the MVP. The solution reached the market in just nine months and met all FCC/FDA regulations. The choices made during the design phase resulted in significant cost savings per device for our partner.
