•Project Planning:
oDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgets for Ab Initio projects, considering client requirements and resource availability.
•Status Reporting and Risk Assessment:
oProvide team status updates for various projects.
oEscalate issues as needed.
oAssess and communicate risks to the development schedule and project.
oRepresent the Data Integration Development team’s interests in cross-functional project teams.
•Best Practices and Frameworks:
oSet up best practices within the App Dev team.
oShare best practices among teams and broader MBIM (Master of Business and Information Management) team.
•Technical Contributions:
oReview FSD (Functional Specification Document) and business requirement documents.
oConsult on project scope and timeline.
oAnalyze and troubleshoot production issues (L3 Support).
oDesign ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Framework for audit and data reconciliation.
oDevelop ETL jobs for automation, monitoring, and job performance optimization using Ab Initio tools or custom procedures.
•Leadership Roles:
oPerform as an App Developer for a set of Oracle schema-based components based on an OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) design.
oPerform as an App Dev Lead for a set of Oracle schema-based components based on an OLAP design.
•Skills:
oDesired skills include quality processes, debugging, meta-programming, parallelism, performance tuning, vectors, project architecture, platform integrations, SMP/MPP architectures, and databases.
oA good understanding of replication technologies is beneficial.
