Position description :

Function and Scope

·         Support and configure network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, WLANs, SANs and other associated equipment.

·        Extensive experience and strong understanding in network architectures, configuration and administration of CISCO networking technology to include switches, routers, IP protocols, and Wireless.

·         Knowledge of Windows servers to include domain controllers and Active Directory.

·         Knowledge of VMware, VCenter, VMotion.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

·         Knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts, including TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, VLANs, LDAP, firewalls and load balancers.

·         Extensive experience working with Windows and Linux servers including server virtualization and replication.

·         Solid understanding of server/network hardware, SAN and NAS principles, and storage

·         Ability to integrate complex hardware and software systems.

·         Demonstrate the ability to perform hands-on configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, servers and workstations.

·         Experience designing, documenting and the installation of large scale wireless networks and supporting infrastructure.

·         Ability to perform advanced packet/protocol analysis throughout the seven layer OSI reference model

·         Cisco Networking

·         Microsoft Windows 2012/2016

·         Hardware Virtualization - Cisco UCS
