Power BI Developer

•Proficient in working in Microsoft Azure services and/or other cloud computing environment

•Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS), specifically SQL and NoSQL.

•Knowledge of an enterprise data visualization platform, such as Power BI, Tableau, Big Query

•Extract, transform, and load data into cloud environments to prepare and structure data frames needed for modeling

•Uses multiple Python libraries and looping functions to create models to answer complex business problems and provide value

•Utilize predictive and prescriptive analytical techniques including XGBoost, classification, KNN (K means clustering, nearest neighbor), NLP (natural language processing), and Neural Networks to analyze and structure model outputs for business consumption

•Utilize SQL language skills to translate the business needs into structured queries to return the required data to answer business questions 

•Work with data engineering teams and software providers to continually optimize model and data transformation performance

•Communicate and understand business needs, translate needs to data source systems, and work with data engineers to extract information from source systems into cloud database servers

•Utilize visualization tools and software (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel) to structure and showcase results of analytical models

•Build relationships with the business units to ensure recommendations from models are followed and value is achieved

•Develop pro forma modelling and ad hoc analyses as required

•Perform deep dive analyses into specific issues as required 

•Interface closely with technology partners to manage the analytical environment and acquire data sets

•Utilize statistical and data visualization packages to develop innovative approaches to complex business problems.

•Draw insights and make performance improvement recommendations based upon data sources and analysis 

•Utilize quantitative and qualitative methodologies including regression, weighted average modeling, minimization/maximization functions, and data classification to draw insights and support the continuous improvement of the business.
