The job entails a Citrix Systems Administrator role focused on managing and supporting Citrix environments, including system upgrades, issue resolution, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have Windows and VMware administration skills, excel in troubleshooting, and possess experience with global customers. Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, implementing deployments, and collaborating on automation to improve system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, Install, monitor, and provide support of advanced functions of Citrix Systems and associated ecosystem and related applications directly or with the team.
Upgrading Citrix storefront, Delivery controller, Storefront and VDA’s to newer versions
Taking responsibility for technical issues in the environment and providing problem resolution.
Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with vendor support for all servers, software, and other hardware directly or with the team members.
Assist in defining, maintaining, and monitoring compliance to Citrix related security and software policies for the business.
Assist in the design and build out of an Automated environment to allow Citrix Server builds to be provisioned in bulk.
System administration skills in Windows and VMware will be an added advantage.
Proactively maintain all Citrix infrastructure components for a 24x7x365 uptime service.
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
Manage, coordinate, and implement Citrix environment deployments, upgrades, patches on servers.
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
Good troubleshooting skills and experienced in handling Global customers

Provide BAU L1/L2 support in rotational/fixed shift model and good communication skills.
Expertise of managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop On-premise environment.
Good knowledge of Citrix Policies
Good Knowledge of Netscaler (ADC)
Good knowledge of Citrix Studio and Citrix Director
Good knowledge of Citrix Secure Email, share file
Good knowledge of MFA integration for VDI.
Good knowledge of Citrix Hypervisor.
Good knowledge of creating MCS catalog, Delivery Group, Image creation.
Good Experience in troubleshooting VDI issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience
