Description

We are seeking a Jr. AOC Engineer to join our team. As a Jr. AOC Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's Air Operations Center (AOC). You will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and support of the AOC's hardware, software, and network infrastructure. In addition, you will actively monitor the AOC's systems and promptly respond to any issues or incidents that may arise. The successful candidate will have a strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

Assist in the maintenance and support of the AOC's hardware, software, and network infrastructure

Proactively monitor the AOC's systems and promptly respond to any issues or incidents

Perform routine system administrative tasks, such as user account management and system backups

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Participate in the planning, installation, and configuration of new systems and applications

Conduct regular system testing and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance

Document technical procedures and configuration changes for future reference

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP and VLANs

Experience with system administration in a Windows and Linux environment

Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V

Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills
