We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer who will play a crucial role in enhancing our IT operations efficiency through automation and integration of various platforms including ServiceNow, Pathlog, Moveworks, and NextThink. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of IT service management processes.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to streamline IT operations workflows using ServiceNow, Pathlog, Moveworks, NextThink, and other relevant platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and software development to gather requirements, define automation strategies, and deploy solutions.
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and workflows to meet organizational needs and integrate with other platforms effectively.
Utilize Moveworks AI capabilities to automate IT support processes and enhance user experience.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of automated solutions.
Develop documentation and provide training to end-users and support teams on automated processes and solutions.
Continuously monitor automation processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation and IT service management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on IT operations automation.
Strong proficiency in ServiceNow administration and development, including custom application development, workflows, and integrations.
Familiarity with Pathlog for process automation and workflow management.
Experience with Moveworks AI for automating IT support processes is highly desirable.
Knowledge of NextThink or similar IT operations management platforms.
Solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
