The Senior Presales and Solutioning Engineer will be a key technical leader responsible for driving business growth by providing expert technical guidance and solution design during the presales process. This role involves understanding client business needs, translating them into compelling technical solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our IT engineering services. The ideal candidate will be a highly technical and client-facing individual with a strong understanding of various technologies and a proven ability to develop and present winning solutions.
Responsibilities:
Presales Engagement: Participate in initial client meetings to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
Solution Architecture: Design and architect innovative and scalable IT engineering solutions that address client needs, leveraging the company's service offerings and technology expertise.
Proposal Development: Lead the technical aspects of proposal development, including defining solution scope, technical approach, effort estimation, and pricing considerations.
Technical Presentations and Demonstrations: Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase the proposed solutions to clients.
RFP/RFI Response: Lead the technical response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client 1 requirements.
Technology Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies in areas relevant to the company's service offerings (e.g., cloud platforms, application development frameworks, data analytics tools, security solutions).
Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to qualify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
Internal Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the development of reusable solution frameworks, best practices, and knowledge assets to enhance the presales process.
Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitor offerings and provide insights on how to differentiate our solutions.
Transition to Delivery: Ensure a smooth handover of the solution design and technical understanding to the delivery teams post-sales.
Mentoring and Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior presales and solutioning team members.
Thought Leadership: Participate in industry events, webinars, and contribute to technical blogs or whitepapers to enhance the company's technical credibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven track record of successfully designing and presenting complex IT solutions to enterprise clients.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architecture patterns, and integration technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their service offerings.

Excellent understanding of the sales process and the role of presales in driving revenue.
