Senior Network Engineer -Implementation/ Operations

Job Title: Network ImplementationEngineer
Shift : 5:30 AM to 2:30 PMIST
(should coverSaturdays and take off any other day in the week instead. Work hrs to startearly - 5:00 - 5:30 AM in the morning for 9 hrs shift)

Seeking proactive and detail-orientedengineers to design, implement, and support low-latency connectivity solutionsfor clients and internal infrastructure, adhering to company standards.
This role involves collaborating with other teams, ensuring timely escalationresolution, and knowledge transfer to the Service Operations (NOC) Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and escalate for large service provider network infrastructure.
  • Perform daily environment checkouts post-changes.
  • Create valid implementation configurations.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Apply configuration changes via change control processes.
  • Perform peer configuration reviews.
  • Implement network infrastructure changes professionally.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues related to changes.
  • Participate in daily change review meetings.
  • Collaborate with network engineering on client solutions.
  • Mentor and guide team members.

Education, Skills and Background:

  • 7-10 years deploying/supporting network equipment in service provider or large enterprise.
  • 5+ years on financial networks, ideally with exchange market data.
  • Experience with Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, and/or Cisco.
  • CCNP/JNCIP - CCIE or equivalent knowledge.
  • Proficient in OSPF, BGP, MPLS.
  • Expert knowledge of Multicast Routing (IGMP, PIM, MSDP).
  • Expert knowledge of TCP, UDP, and upper layer protocols.
  • Experience with high-speed, low-latency financial market connectivity.
  • Familiarity with Ansible, Linux, Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for system recovery.
  • Clear verbal and written communication.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Job Title: Network Operations Engineer
Shift Timings : 9:30 PM To 6:30 PM IST (should cover both Saturdays and Sundays making the work week - say Wed to Sun, with similar work hours as APAC region timezone)


 The Network Operations team ensures the stability of their global electronictrading network, spanning over 40 locations.
This role provides critical front-line support across various networkinfrastructure domains, including global connectivity, dark fiber, low-latencytrading fabrics, market access, and data center LANs.
It's a client-facing position requiring strong customer service and technicalskills, involving troubleshooting, monitoring network health, implementingchanges, and creating documentation.
The team operates 24/7 globally and participates in projects.

KeyResponsibilities (Pointers):

  • Diagnose and resolve network operational issues.
  • Perform triage and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor network health using monitoring tools.
  • Implement network changes.
  • Assist clients with support queries (SLAs).
  • Identify areas for improvement in efficiency and stability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Utilize automation tools for tasks.
  • Manage incident and project case queues.
  • Collaborate with global teams.

Required Skills(Pointers):

  • 5+ years in large enterprise or service provider networks.
  • CCNP level knowledge or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Solid understanding of IPv4 and subnetting.
  • Experience with VLANs, Spanning Tree, Etherchannel, static/OSPF/BGP routing, traffic engineering, ACLs, NAT.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP.
  • Ability to diagnose complex network issues and analyze packet captures.
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls and IPSec VPNs.

Experience with SNMP and Syslog-based NetworkManagement Systems
