The customer is a leading, innovation-led satellite communications company. Their advanced and resilient global mobile connectivity infrastructure and satellite communications services and solutions provide a connectivity lifeline even in the most remote and challenging locations.
The customer has applications producing large amounts of data that are fed into BigQuery. Several decision systems consume this data to build analytics; and many applications work off the data from other applications. The customer wanted a solution that would make the right data available to the right system, efficiently transfer data from and to applications, and securely manage the data.
