Overview
Organizations moving towards digitalization of workspaces to primarily increase employee mobility, reduce hardware requirements & consequently IT costs, are looking at Desktop Virtualization as a viable alternative. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) is a type of Desktop Virtualization where desktop environments are hosted inside a Virtual Machine(VM) running on a centralized server, and deployed to the end user on request. Since applications and data reside only on the centralized server, there is improved security, better control and easier management for the IT Operations team.
